Most orthopedic surgeries will be performed in the clinic by the Tarheel Veterinary Surgical Specialists orthopedic team.  Tarheel Veterinary Surgical Specialists is a board-certified orthopedic team that will come to North Star Veterinary Hospital to complete your pets orthopedic surgery.  This unique practice ensures that you and your pet will receive high quality care in the comfort and convenience of familiar surroundings. 

Following surgery, North Star Veterinary Hospital veterinarians and staff will work closely with you on the recovery of your pet.  Your pet will likely participate in physical therapy, acupuncture, laser, and chiropractic care post-surgery to ensure optimal healing and mobility.
